1. We continue to have evening praise and prayer on Sundays at 6:00 p.m.  We meet in the Heritage Room

2. Please join us for weekly prayer Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 6:00 a.m. and Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. We meet in the Heritage Room.

3. Our Youth Workers are scheduling summer activities.  Among them will be an Acting Club on Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m.  This weekly activity has begun!  Come on out and join the group.  For further information please contact Andrea Vincent.

4. The Ultimate Frisbee group meets on Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. at WSU's Matthai field.  Please contact Wilkian Lai for further information.

5. The weather is getting nicer, and that means we will be having some cookouts. Our first cookout for the summer is scheduled for next Sunday, May 30, 2010 after our Worship Gathering.  This is the Memorial Day weekend.  Our next two cookouts have been scheduled for June 20 and July 4, 2010.  On June 20 our theme will be "Grads and Dads" where we will be recognizing our Senior High Graduates along with the Dads of the church

6. The Youth Group will be having a Yard Sale this summer to raise money for their events.  The dates are July 1-3, 2010, and will take place at 673 Prentis Street.  Please contact Andrea Vincent if you have items to donate.

7. Please continue in prayer for our teens.  "LIFE 2010," the Christian and Missionary Alliance's national youth gathering is held in Louisville, Kentucky.  This event occurs once every three years.  Andrea Vincent reports that we have six or seven young people interested in attending!  Please pray that each one will encounter Jesus in a refreshing way.  Praise the Lord for a donation that has been received by the Church that will allow each young person to go to "LIFE".

8. LOOK HERE!  Our next church building Workday is set for Saturday, June 5, 2010. We will begin at 10:00 a.m. and go until 4:00 p.m.  As always lunch will be served (about 1:00 p.m.) for all the workers.  We will be installing the last of the insulation in the floor in the attic.  Woo Who!  Come when you can, stay as long as you are able.

9.  Reminder to mark your calender for our Annual Farm Trip along with our Annual Picnic.  The Annual Farm Trip is scheduled for August 21, 2010 and Dottie Sampson has again invited our two congregations to come up to her family farm and petting zoo this summer.   The Annual Picnic is set for Sunday August 29, 2010.
